About this boat tour guide

StockholmBoatTour.se is an independent guide to seeing Stockholm from the water: the sightseeing cruises and canal tours in the city, the public ferries and archipelago boats, the islands worth a day, and what each boat tour really includes. We are not a tour operator, a ferry company, SL, Waxholmsbolaget or GetYourGuide. We compare what is on offer so you can decide whether you need a tour at all, and if so, which one suits you.

Facts on this site are checked against official and reliable sources (SL and Waxholmsbolaget for the public boats, the operators' own timetables, Visit Stockholm, the Royal Court for Drottningholm, the Archipelago Foundation for the nature reserves, SMHI for weather) and against the live GetYourGuide listings, including recent guest reviews. Timetables change with the seasons; when an official source and this site disagree, trust the official source.
